Annuity Fund Plan is a defined contribution employees' pension plan. It is funded by Employer contributions made pursuant to collective bargaining agreements between District Council 37 and agencies and subdivisions of the City of New York and other government entities. DC 37 adopted the Plan on October 1, 1999. The Plan and the Annuity Fund are intended to satisfy the tax qualification requirements under sections 401(a) and 501(a) of the Internal Revenue Code as a governmental retirement plan. The Plan Year is July 1 to June 30.
